June was a really hard month. Having Uncle Jesse in the hospital in Switzerland and not knowing how hurt he was was incredibly hard. His accident and recovery was very hard on all of us. I am so grateful for the miracles that were in play that kept him alive.
June was a big month for Everett. He officially became potty trained. It is true what people say that you have to wait until the child is ready. Everett got a new potty that we put in the front room, and he was excited and ready to be a big boy. Once he decided he wanted to be potty trained there was no stopping him.
The first few months with Nathan, Everett and I didn't get much one on one time. The transition was hard on us both. So one night just he and I went to dinner and then the duck pond. After that we watched the helicopters at the hospital for a while. It was really good for us both.
Fathers Day was a lot of fun celebrating Stephen and the amazing dad that he. We also went to the graduation dinner for the PM&R residents finishing their last year. Stephen was awarded intern of the year. I am so proud of his hard work he put into his first year of residency and we are so excited that intern year is done!
Stephen worked so hard building us an arbor swing for the backyard. It is beautiful and now we spend every afternoon and evening on it.
You'd find the boys and me at the duck pond at least 3 afternoons a week.
Apparently we go to chick fil a to much because Everett knows my exact order.
To end the busy month we went to the annual PM&R swim party. It was so fun. Everett had the best time. He didn't leave the pool the entire four hours we were there.
