Outer Banks: Day Two

Day two Everett woke up at 5:30 needing to go potty and then fell right back to sleep. He still wasn't feeling the best and was exhausted from the day before. Because he woke up when he did we were able to watch the sunrise. Stephen and I walked out to the beach and sat down on the sand. It was a beautiful sunrise.
The only thing my dad wanted to do on this trip was visit the Wright's brothers museum. It was really special for him to see where the first flight happened. It is a pretty amazing place. Everett kept grabbing papas hand to show him his favorite things there. Every time he did it he would say "come on Papa, I show you."
We spent the afternoon playing on the beach. Stephen dug a five foot hole using just a little bucket and Everett loved helping. Nathan is such a beach baby. He was having so much fun with the sand. He liked picking up the dry top layer of sand and squeezing it in his hands. Everett and Stephen then buried themselves in the big hole.
Stephen and I went out to dinner that night and visited a really fun little art gallery. One thing I really wanted to do on this trip was visit an art gallery. My favorite gallery I've found was in Savannah. We had a favorite art gallery when we lived in Georgia that was fun to visit. This one here was a cute little one with amazing photography. We had so much fun picking out exactly what we wanted for the house and where we would put them. Then we put them back and left because we aren't in the season of life yet where we can blow that kind of money on beautiful pictures. It will be so fun one day when we can go to a gallery for real and actually leave with a few pieces.
