Hiking in the clouds

My first hike this semester was at fresh water lake. The lake is 2,500 ft above sea level which meant I got to be cold for a few hours. It felt great! Hopefully I can take Stephen to see it and then we can rent Kayaks. The hike around the lake was pretty short, just over 2 miles, and was a lot of fun to hike because we were high in the clouds. The clouds gave the lake a very eerie feeling. It was awesome. After the hike and enjoying the lake a little bit we headed to Screw's Spa to warm up. It was so relaxing and nice. Then we headed for home and I rushed like crazy to get dinner all ready for the missionaries. I am trying really hard to be better this semester at feeding the single students and the missionaries dinner. I have been a slacker in the past because we didn't have a kitchen table. We only had a small bar with two chairs. In our new home we have a table so it is much easier having people over.

Such a beautiful trail.

These shoes have gone on some amazing hikes with me.

Relaxing at Screw's after the hike.
