March

March was a crazy month! I don't even know where to start. So many huge life changes happened this month and so many fun family days. I feel as though this year I wanted to focus so much on slowing life down but our lives just won't let us. I am not complaining, at least not too much. I love our fast pace lives where we take advantage of the time we have by doing fun things. But my goodness we need to find a balance. We may not find that balance until we move to Greenville because we are wanting to soak up every last minute we have left in Atlanta.
Starting out the month Stephen and I made a no cell phones in the bedroom rule and it has been the best decision.
We took Everett to the NASCAR race and it was so much fun. By far Everetts best day ever.
Stephen finished his last day of Medical School and is officially Dr. Peirce now! For his graduation gift I got him and I tickets to see Metallica in concert in New Jersey. To say I am the best wife ever is a huge understatement.
I have to mention Match Week! We were so happy to find out Stephen got accepted to East Carolina University specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Everett and I signed up for a nature class at the Dunwoody nature preserve. We were only in town for two of the weeks and learned about worms the first week and turtles the second. His favorite part was playing in the sand box and going on our nature walks.
Proud parents moment. Everett had his first dentist appointment and the dentist told us that we made his day because he has never had a better kid.
I have probbaly mentioned this before but when we moved to Atlanta I made it a goal to feed the Elders every month. We have 3 sets of missionaries in our ward which means we feed them almost every week. It has been such a blessing having them in our home. We met two new elders this month and they knew we were moving soon and they took the time out of their busy schedule without having even met us yet to think of and share a special thought with us about moving and how scary it may be sometimes. We also said goodbye to another one of our favorite elders this month. It was so fun getting to know elder Parke. These missionaries truly are such wonderful servants of the Lord. We will miss every single one of them so much.
We took a day vacation to Savannah and wish so badly we could just live there for a few months. It is such a beautiful and romantic city.
We had a massive lightening storm that fried our internet box.
I've been having weekly girls nights watching the bachelor and we had the best finale episode party. My sweet friend called our husbands before we came over and had them write us date cards that she handed out and read to us during the commercial breaks. I am going to miss my friends here so much when we move. I've had some fun times with all of the girls in my ward.
After living here for almost two years now we finally tried costco pizza. Oh my gosh it is amazing. All this time we had been looking for good cheap pizza and finally find it right before we move to a city with no costco. Life just isn't fair sometimes.
My mom came out for a week to watch Everett while Stephen and I went to Greenville to look for a house.
After missing out on the Macon cherry blossom fesitval two years in a row we made sure to take the time to go this year. It definitely was not what I expected but we did get donuts, ice cream, and sprite for free. Plus a fun little horse carriage ride. Everett got to pet a hot pink poodle and we had some pretty amazing burgers. Even though it was nothing like I had expected we still had a fun time.
This was our last full month living in Atlanta but I am not ready to write my sappy goodbye Atlanta post. I will save that for another night.
