Everett Turns One

Everett today you turned one. Turning one, no longer being a baby, and now a toddler made moms heart hurt for a bit. Until I rocked you to sleep on your birthday night a realized you are still my same baby boy. The day was spent pretty much like any other. Except for the annoying photo shoots all day to get pictures to forever remember your special day. You had your one year check up which was sad because it meant one year shots. But you only cried while being held down for them. Then you waved for the first time to the nurse on our way out. Mom and dad gave you a cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday. You played with the candle a little but wasn't to interested. We planned on going to the park on your special day but now thinking back I'm not sure we made it. You enjoyed opening your presents but was scared of most of them. Overall it was a fun day celebrating you!
Mom and dad love you so very much and we are looking forward to another year full of fun and adventure.
