After our busy week in Utah we headed to Island Park for the week with the Peirce's. We all stayed in a cabin right on the river. The kids had a pirate ship playground that kept them super busy. It was such an amazing week! One night we went horseback riding and then watched the rodeo. The little kids went on a hayride. One entire day was spent trying to drive into Yellowstone park and then realizing it was hopelessly too crowded so we ended up driving back and went to the top of a mountain peak which was so scary and a lot fun. We all went canoeing down the river one afternoon and saw a moose. Everett loved helping dad paddle. It was just so peaceful up there. I could have stayed for a month and honestly wish we could have. On our night to make dinner we made bbq ribs and brought some delicious bbq sauce with us from North Carolina. It was really special having all of the family together. We definitely want to do it again.
