December was a busy month! Busy because half of it was spent in Utah and the other half was spent doing tons of baking and holiday activities. It was such a fun month! As Everett gets older I am trying to do more for the holidays. It sure makes for a busy month when you only have half of December to do everything.
Everett had fun seeing Santa. We could not get him to smile with him but he did ask for a lightning Mcqueen car and uncle Jesse car. It was pretty cute. Mrs. Claus even convinced me that I needed a picture with Santa for the new baby. She was a pretty good sales lady.
Some of the fun Holiday things we did was decorated a gingerbread train and Everett loved eating all of the candies off it the next day. We made caramels and cookies for all of our neighbors. Stephen finished Everett's bed and dresser that we wanted to give him for Christmas. We drove around and found fun homes with tons of Christmas lights on them. Everett loved when we let him sit up in the front seat. We had amazing weather all month long which meant we got lots of play time at the park. One day Stephen had work off so we drove to the kids museum in Raleigh and Everett had a blast! I wish it wasn't so far away but we will definitely be taking him back.
And of course New Years Eve was fun too. It was pretty low key with some yummy food and actually staying up until midnight for our new years kiss. Then straight to bed.
